New Year, New Leader

New Year, New Leader

At TASC’s company meeting in October I announced that I will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of January 1st, 2024. I am proud of what this TASC team has been able to create over the past four decades. This team includes former associates, advisors, and ownership, plus my current associates and advisors.

I remain very bullish on TASC’s future. My 40 years with TASC, with more than 25 years as CEO, has been very fulfilling. I have grown immensely both professionally and personally. A lot has been accomplished. Some accomplishments came with ease and some luck, but there were parts that came with challenges. However, through it all was hard work, dedication, and perseverance, which for most, if not all businesses, is necessary to not just survive, but to thrive and sustain.

As I step back from TASC, going forward my energy will go into other projects, like philanthropy, continuous learning, personal wellness, travel, my marriage, being Papa to our grandchildren and, you know, a little more goofing off mixed in. While I am leaving this position, I am still going to assist TCB Enterprise in its effort to win, do good and deliver peace of mind. This includes leadership succession.

Speaking of succession, when it comes to having someone who can lead TASC to even greater summits, my choice … is Pam Reynolds, our current Chief Service Offering Officer. Pam is the right person at the right moment. It has been my hope for some time now to pass the leadership baton to someone who developed from within TASC. One of the reasons I am ready to take this next step for myself is because of Pam.

Pam is ready for this and has been for quite some time. I have been a direct witness to her ability to understand the business, lead people, analyze situations, make tough decisions, and respond to success and adversity with the right mix of class and tenacity. Pam has demonstrated that she wants the role, she can handle the role and she has all the energy, competitiveness, and empathy that Patti and I as owners, and our founder Don Rashke, have always felt are necessary to lead TASC.

Pam will not be running TASC alone. She has a group of TASC leaders standing with her as she leads TASC to being bigger and better, while continuing to maintain our values and serve our mission while fulfilling our vision. Pam, along with Andy Bartel, Brad Hoffman and Christian Rosenstock represent almost 100 years in TASC experience. They are not just experienced in business or in this industry. That is nearly 100 years with TASC. They have a deep understanding of our business, our culture and how to support each other.

When it comes to Pam there aren’t many unknowns. She brings proven leadership, strong business acumen, and a desire to win and do good. She can adapt and is not afraid of change, and she gets one hell of a team who will do what they need to do to support her and put the work in to fulfill TASC’s mission and achieve the results we all desire. Please join me in congratulating Pam Reynolds on becoming TASC’s new Chief Executive Officer. I have the utmost confidence that she will do great things for TASC going forward.
