Succeed Together

TASC_Succeed_Together_CMYKToday is a very special day at TASC. It’s our annual Company Meeting day! And this morning 500 TASC employees assembled at Monona Terrace in Madison, Wis., to hear our leaders talk about our recent successes and our plans and hopes for the year to come. Another 400 participated via a live webcast at one of our 70+ remote locations across the nation.

As you might imagine, the event is quite an undertaking. And the year 2015 is especially important because we are celebrating our 40th anniversary! Our theme for this year’s meeting is Succeed Together. To commemorate our anniversary, and in keeping with our culture of active philanthropy, each and every one of the 500 TASC employees will be dispatched after lunch to volunteer at a local non-profit organization.

TASC employees will be helping 40 separate non-profits around Madison, including American Red Cross, Center for Families, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS), East Madison Community Center, Gilda’s Club, Henry Vilas Zoological Society, Literacy Network, Madison Children’s Museum, Mental Health Center of Dane County, Inc., Porchlight, Inc., Rainbow Coalition, Ronald McDonald House near UW Children’s Hospital, Second Harvest Food Bank of Southern Wisconsin, St. Mary’s Adult Day Health Center, St. Vincent de Paul, and The River Food Pantry.

We are being active philanthropists by giving of our minds, our time, and our resources. Events like this help plant and grow the seeds of volunteerism in our employees. These volunteers—and all volunteers—are able to make a truly amazing difference across our community.

Without question, TASC employees volunteer year-round. But especially today, we are working together around town. Our efforts are just another way to give back to the community that has given us so much. If you see a group of us in our TASC Cares T-shirts and TASC 40th Anniversary fleece jackets, I invite you to stop and say “hello.”
